Ping!
Me: Hmm? A new message? Who could that be from at this hour?
God: Hey there! You rang?
Me: Um... I didn't call anyone, especially not the almighty! Is this some kind of prank?
God: It's no joke. I've been listening to your prayers, and I thought, "Why not connect in a way you'd understand? Welcome to the divine chatroom."
Me: Alright, assuming you're legit, I've got to say life feels like it's on fast-forward. It's hard to catch a breath.
God: Sounds like you're confusing activity with productivity. Doing more doesn't always mean achieving more.
Me: Philosophy aside, why is life so darn complicated?
God: Because you're overthinking it. Live life, don't analyze it. That's what complicates it.
Me: But why the constant unhappiness?
God: You’re fixating on tomorrow and forgetting today. Worrying has become second nature to you, hasn't it?
Me: With so much uncertainty, how can I not?
God: Uncertainty is part of life, but how you react - with worry or acceptance - is your choice.
Me: So, are you saying we should just accept pain?
God: Pain will happen. But whether it causes suffering, that's up to you. Remember, diamonds undergo pressure but come out shining.
Me: But the struggles seem never-ending, and the path unclear.
God: The external world is a maze, but your internal compass – your heart – knows the direction. Trust it.
Me: What about when success seems so elusive?
God: Success by whose standards? Yours or society's? Walk your journey, let the world keep its clock.
Me: But how do you stay motivated when the going gets tough?
God: By remembering how far you've come, not just how far you've left to go. Gratitude is the best motivation.
Me: It's hard though. Sometimes I wonder, "Who am I in this vast universe?"
God: Don’t just find yourself. Create yourself. Life isn't about discovery but creation.
Me: But what if my prayers seem unanswered?
God: Every prayer gets an answer. Sometimes, it's just "not now" or "not this way."
Me: This chat has been... enlightening. A fresh way to begin anew.
God: Remember, life's a beautiful mystery, not a problem. Embrace it, enjoy it, live it.
As you close the chat window and reflect on the conversation, ask yourself: Are you living life to its fullest? Or are you merely existing? In the vast digital age, where connections are a click away, have you connected with your inner self? Will you continue to let worries cloud your days, or will you choose to see the silver lining? The choice is yours.
Which of the following describes "you?"
A. I always live in the 'present' & enjoy it to the fullest.
B. I constantly think of the future and keep 'worrying.'
